Hmm, maybe. But it's quite normal for people to love their clan, party, or country. We humans are social creatures who like to gather around; for that, we create social events. Mauri people like to express their feelings through that silly war cry. We Sri Lankans love shamelessly bragging about implying that our country is the best in the world. I know Indians think the same. When someone insults our country, we like to punish them with no mercy. So, I don't think those claims are wrong. Its people, bro, express their feelings. If you think this is cringeworthy or immature or something, just ignore it.
