Well, it will take some time to build a strong competitive team again, these new players need to play more and more matches and it's not about bad captaincy, simply we don't have enough experienced players at this stage, Mathews isn't performing well with the Bat so that's another huge problem, I think we need players like thirimanna as well, yeah i know he is struggling at the moment but those players are our future and he performs well on these fast pitches.

they are not new players anymore. all the bowlers and most of the batsmen has more than 3 year experience in national team accept chameera. but chameera has more than 1 year experience in national team. i think it is all about lack of talent . nothing more.chandimal and kusal perera is the only two players i see some potential. others are just lazy or poor in cricket. look at the williamson and jos buttler. how much they achieved in one year. I think our players dont have the heart to play cricket. If they have the heart , chasing 296 runs in 7 wickets is not a problem.
