China unveils passenger jet C919

China's first large passenger aircraft to be made in the country was rolled out of the final assembly line in Shanghai on Monday.
The C919 aircraft was developed by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd.
It is expected to make its maiden flight in 2016 and begin test flights for three years before commercial use.

චීනයේ නිෂ්පාදිත පළමු විශාලතම මගී ගුවන් යානයේ වැඩකටයුතු සම්පුර්ණ වශයෙන් අවසන් වී තිබේ.
වැඩ නිම කළ C919 ගුවන් යානය මහජන ප්‍රදර්ශනය සඳහා ඉදිරිපත් කෙරුණේ ෂැංහයි නුවරදීයි.
එම සිය ප්‍රථම ගුවන් ගමනයානය 2016 වසරේදී සිදු කිරීමට නියමිතයි.
සාමාන්‍ය ගුවන් ගමන් ඇරඹීමට ප්‍රථම ගුවන් යානය වසර තුනක් පරීක්ෂණ ගුවන් ගමන්වල යෙදීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.



C919 was likely to be priced at £32 million (US$50 million), which was up to 30 per cent cheaper than a Boeing 737 or an Airbus 320.

Pakistan Shaheen Air plane crash landing injures 10

The Shaheen Air flight made an emergency landing in Allama Iqbal International Airport on Tuesday, with over 100 people reportedly on board.
Initial reports said one of the plane's tyres had burst, causing it to skid off the runway. Other reports said the plane suffered a technical fault.
All passengers are said to have been moved to safety.
