define "sux" machan. why WiMax cant compete with ADSL???
if it has to do something with download limit just forget about it . as i said i hv downloaded 180GB in my first month. this month only 18GB cuz i dnt hv fKing space .

Wimax can run circles around ADSL technology as Wimax can easily go to dedicated speeds of 100mbps . Will providers ever give such speeds to customers remains to be seen but the technology supports it and the hardware necessary for those speeds are already on the market.

LoS is not a myth. Wimax depends on it to provide an efficient connection.

In terms of Technology, Wimax is better than ADSL so Dialog should do better (will they actually do better remains to be seen.)
I have very bad experience with ADSL and even worse experience in trying to get it fixed with SLT. So if you have a good ADSL connection from SLT, then count your blessings.
I'm still waiting for my Dialog Wimax connection so I can comment on how dialog fairs only after I get their connection.
I have good experience is using wimax as I have setup wimax private links and those work beautifully so I know that the technology is damn good and is miles better than ADSL technology.
