that speeds seems to be wrong they providing 3.6 Gb/s connection. they are nt providing HSPA+ even 14.4Mb/s is theoretical value.

Ya i know friend, these results can't be accurate according to the HSPA technology.

but the thing is i have noticed that people who bought AIRTEL broadband packages recently, recieve much more speed than the users bought it in early times.

I don't know how that is happened. but it is true my friend. Some of my friends bought AIRTEL 3GB connection and they recieving the same good speed as mine.
But obviousely the old users always complaining about the speed. (specially in Panadura, Moratuwa(katubedda, angulana), Ratmalana, Mt.Lavinia area). Honestly don't know about the upcountry (kandy).

As you know dialog (student) broad band package now a days faces the same scenario. People who bought that are now barely having 30-120kbps download speed even with I.D.M. , because of the heavy traffic which the network have to survive in peak hours.


So i don't know about you guys. this speed is perfectly suits me. When i'm in Nugegoda i get 180 - 250kbps with I.D.M.
(i'll put some screen shots when i go back there)

But the sad thing is when i come to ambalangoda i only get 1 - 5 kbps only.

that's how it is.




but i must say this also Airtel will not able to beat the enormous broadband speed of Mobitel m3.
So far it is the best in SriLankan broadband market with comparing the speed vs. coverage.
