yes... i have 3Gb package..
speed is like ADSL.
had unlimited earlier... its a shit.
i think unlimited is a mistake made by airtel.

Airtel la lankacom eken connection aran thiyenne. airtel ekata unlimited normal speed denda puluwan connection ekak na.
ekai oya unlimited eka patta slow. samahara with oya kiyana dawasin passe connection eka upgrade karanawa ahti i think.

but now dialog has ongoing project to connecting they main stations through fiber. after that we can hope good speed. its for dialog broadband.

that project stopped now... its just a show off by dialog as usual..
they also dont have international band width. only 150mb total..
airtel has 100mb international band width. 3G is far superior than dialog. no problem with tower to tower connections.( dialog tower to tower speed is 2 mb max.. so it also act as a bottle neck when tower has lot of users)

thats coz all the airtel user have gone for unlimited packages..if the other users starts using limited connections they will be slow down as we...the issue here is limited and unlimited uses 2servers..

22 n passe hari speed eka wedi unoth hondai.. They have been saying that since last April to me. Speed will increase next month.. But no improvement yet!! I have made 8 complaints for the last 3 months!! Going for a record!!

i do a chat lot from skype and all i couldnt make a gud call yet from skype or any massangr..

ya right that project stopped because of the lack of budget.
they recognised bottle neck happen on main stations to switching that why they try to connect through fiber.
but sometimes itz not more effect to broad band users. somehow itz effect on busy times.

I dont think Airtel will be able to solve that problem as easily as it may seem to you. Do you think all the users will just disconnect their unlimited connections that easily?? They will surely have lot of legal issues. And i heard that the Telecommunication Regulatory Committee too has noticed this thing and are planning to action against Airtel.. And they should be litigated for wasting our money and time like this.. atleast they should waive our monthly bills till they find a solution for this mess they have created..

ya..i think they are installing there network coz the Ip we get is from australia,,,

what they have done is ..this buy a stac ip from icann and give all the users intenet from the ip..
which in slt they have a Ip for every user..this cost a lot..coz slt has to buy ip address's from icann,,, what airtel has done is get one ip give all the users from one so the cost is low..i think though they have enough bandwidth they must install powerfull servers as well if not how can they give all the users from one Ip?

my friend... this is not uk or us...
can you tell me any instance where TRC done justice to consumers..
i had dialog package with 6 month agreement.. i got speeds like 100kbps always...
not anything more.
i officially complained to TRC . they didnt even replied me. and i told same thing you are saying to dialog... waive off rental till network upgrade.. they just showed me terms and conditions i signed... it cover them nicely..

so mate you cant get any justice from them.. from dialog certainly...
but have to mention... mobitel is different in that aspect. they take your complaints seriously...
