Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd. Sucks!!

    I bought my car insurance from Allianz lanka 2 years ago and never made a claim. Recently I met with an accident and the person who came to inspect approved me around 90% of the total repair cost. (which is fine with me)
    Then after few weeks I did the necessary repairs and submitted the invoice to them and after week I'm getting a letter saying my claim is not acceptable and regretfully they have to decline my claim!!

    Can they seriously do that ?
    Accept a claim first and after you did all the repairs inform they can't pay ??

    I was with Janashakthi for 5 years and never had any issues.I thought Allianz is a much better company due to their global exposure but they proved I'm wrong... I regret I left Janashakthi for a bunch of idiots!! (specially Mr Rajasinghe, who sent me the letter and appears to be a senior motor engineer) Don't these people have any common sense ??? I did all my marine insurance and business insurance with them for past 2 years and never made any claims and they are making a big fuss about my Rs12,500 claim!!!

    Its not a matter of money!! Its a matter of ethics!!!

    For all the people who are considering Allianz... ITS A BIG DON'T FROM ME!!

    Asian Alliance Insurance Bad service

    I also bought my car insurance from Asian Alliance. My car also recently met with an accident. now it's almost 3 weeks after I reporting this to them. our branch is in Negombo. I had to made so many phone calls to them. When I called they tranfer my line to so many persons. Then They told me to wait..And I was waiting more than 15 minutes for each call.... but no any response... When I called again they cut the phone call.

    So I had to visit Asian Alliance Negombo branch several times. When I visit Asian Alliance Negombo branch they told don't worry they made payment & put the money on my bank account same day... But they never do like that.

    When I complained about this issue to Asian Alliance hotline. They told me that they didn't receive documents from negombo branch. When ask it from Asian Alliance Negombo branch, they told me they sent the all the documents.

    When I try to contact the person who introduced me this policy, He never answer his mobile phone.

    Actually my claim is Rs.21,300. If I want to waste my time & money for a this kind of small amount.. Can you image howz their service about a big damage??

    Anyway what I have to say is Asian Alliance customer service is very bad & i'm totally disappointed about them. :sorry:

    මට මේ කතාව විශ්වාස කරන්නත් බේ වගේ. මගේ car එකේ ගිය අව්රුද්දෙ මේ අව්රුද්දෙඉ දෙකේම clam 2ක් ගත්තා ,එකක් 18,අනෙක 12.5 සතියෙන් check එක ගෙදර අවා . කිසිම කරදයක් උනේ නේ .උන් ගෙදරට කතා කරලා ඇහුව ඔය ඇතිද කියලත් .හබඊ බ්‍රාන්ච් එක පානදුර.එත් ඕකට බ්‍රාන්ච් එකේ කිසිම connection එකක් තිබ්බේ නෑ .

    The place I love to live....
    machan they wont decline any claims without a reason. you ask them the reason if they are unable to give you a reason, complain to Insurance Board. keep all the evdence you have. mind you that janashakthi also same now.

    This is why 90% of Europeans go thru a broker.
