I have moved to the WP8 from Android. It is kind a cool to use a different platform. Of course there are negatives and positives of both. But i think i will stick with the WP8. for now

well, im a developer so ive used all the IDEs out there. VS is build for pussies that are lazy to write their own code. and if you dont have the patience to install some plugins you want you shouldnt be developing anything at all. and if you want all the functions of Visual Studio Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 costs around $12,000. adnd around $3000 per year to renew.
Emulator
for me longest loading was like 2 mins in labs at my uni and at my home pc it doesn't take more than 20sec. but most of the time i use a real android device to run the apps because reality is better than something virtual.
Designing
and lol, real developers dont use drag and drop. thats why there's Visual Studio for such lazyass people.
Revenue
so you accept even if you write a studpid app for windows itll be a success.
Learning Effort
dont be silly. i had learned .net, c++, java, c before developing android. never had to learn anything new. of you say
