It's worth a thread because it's about awareness. Many SriLankans are not aware of fire hazards in other countries. The building materials are different and fires can spread much more rapidly and savagely unlike in typical Srilankan households. Unless they are made aware of the dangers and what to do in case of a fire, there's a severe risk. It's about three young lives. Tragic.

Quite correct. If you want to learn English you can do it without ever leaving SriLankan shores. It's a lame excuse to get to somewhere near "Europe".
