1) During the riots, rioters attacked these places by mistake (in the dark).
2) Rioters attacked these places because those (Sinhalese) people gave protection/shelter to their Muslim friends/neighbours.
3) Sinhalese people destroyed their own properties to show the world that Muslims also attacked their places / properties.
4) Muslims really did this. Newton's third law (i.e: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction).
