Development වලට Ubuntu හොද. Windows තරම් User friendly නෑ. Thiyana App User friendly නෑ.
ඕක හොද නැති නිසානේ බන් වැඩිය කව්රුත් use කරන්නේ නැත්තේ.

Can't say in developer perspective as IMO it's too easy to handle.

But if you are non-dev, consider using cloud software like google sheets, docs, etc. to workout. The inbuild opensource ones won't be that beneficial except for a few

මම මේවා ලියලා දාන්නේ මම Linux community එකට support කරන user කෙනෙක්. මට ඕන මේ basic වැඩ විතරක්ම කරන කිසිම හේතුවක් නැතුව බොරුවට Windows pirate දාගෙන වයිරස් ගාඩ් දාගෙන, slow වේවි නිකන් වලි කන මිනිස්සු Linux වලට ගන්න. මිනිස්සුන්ට තියෙන්නේ බොරු බයක්. Nop! it's not true at all.. Rather than being a fan, I'm using Linux for a reason. Do you wanna know why I don't like Windows? here,

I'm not sure what you mean by "my technical ability", but if you know how to make a bootable drive using Rufus or something, all you have to do is just click "next" until you get in to the desktop - JUST LIKE Windows!

And then, how do you install software? Just open the Store application, search, select the software and click install button. Then it will ask the password for the account, then, done!

What's the hard thing here? If they don't know how to install an OS to a computer, that's a different problem! Then they don't know how to install Windows too right?
Why do you say this is so difficult for a beginner? beginner of what? using a computer? then it will be hard for sure! If they have installed and used Windows then it would be nothing to worry about using popular beginner friendly Linux distributions like Mint / Ubuntu / Manjaro ..etc
