This is true as well  but saying there is NO better country in the world for Sinhalese other than Sri Lanka is just bull shit. simple as that ;)

If Sri-Lanka develops up to the standards of a 1st world country, there would be no other better place for me to live other than SL ;) .

IF  Sri-Lanka becomes a 1t world country , people's ideas would also change accordingly , may be that's possible in 100 years:baffled:

Yes I know about the people back there cuz we have lots of relatives living in SL :D . I can write a whole book about their jealousy , hatred, back stabbing ect :dull: .

(There is also a few who really cares about us :) )

May be the people with Sri Lankan origin are the back stabbers. Natives from those to btries don't gve a shit about your business. In here, we are surrounded by 25 aunts who has nothing but to sniff the hell out you.

    My choices:
    - Netherlands
    - US
    - India (contrary to popular belief, I have my own reasons).
    - Singapore
    - Sri Lanka.

That's interesting choices :D I would understand why you would select US even though someone else might says otherwise, but India seriously? :baffled: how on earth India is better than Sri Lanka? :baffled: may be for some jobs etc but still to live your life there? :baffled:

mind saying why did you chose Netherlands as you first choice? :)

By another 100 years the world would be different and what we says now as a "1st world country" would be different I guess.

but no ones here going to live another 100 years so whats the point even talking about that "IF" ?

I just liked it in Netherlands (Amsterdam specially). They don't keep bullshitting about their history as Brits and French do, and are quite open people. I never felt different being someone with a Caramel skin. They didn't either. You can ride a bicycle anywhere in the city. Even a figgin boat through the cannels! Awesome tram lines system. Awesome trains, and perhaps the best roads. Everyone pays 30% income tax flat, and the government is stable, keeps the country great. Some companies of my line if work are located there, so I'd have plenty of people to mingle with too.

India, despite being a filthy country, homes several nice people. Manali, Shimla, Darjeeling, and Varanasi are beautiful beyonds the words. If you can afford a nice place in Bandra Mumbai, it would be like living in a first world country except you can take a taxi for 20 rupees and dining options are available from 50 rupees per meal to even 20,000 per person. Great train system too.
India is mainly for the beauty of the country. Girls in Darjeeling with tibet origin are beautiful than the majority of Sri Lankan girls.

    Everyones personal opinions

They are dutch, but I couldn't find anyone who couldn't speak English. The people were nice. I only lived a few weeks so I could be wrong. Everyone is devoted to their jobs, but after the office hours, nobody cares what you do anymore. I dined with a company head and our hotels receptionist was right next to her. The red light district is awesome as well.

I was riding a bicycle, slightly hit another rider. It was all my fault but he got off, smiled, and asked if "I" was OK. Bicycle theft is a problem there though.

Weather is just like any other European country. May be exactly like the UK.
