BnSලා කියන්නේ ලාංකීය සංගීතය නව මාවතකට යොමු කළ,
ලාංකීය සංගීතය අන්තර්ජාතික තලයට අරගෙන ගියපු දෙන්නෙක්...

මට හිතෙන විදිහට BnSලා කියන්නේ අපිට ආඩම්බරයක්...

ඔහු කිව්වේ මා හඬවලා ගීතයේ තනු නිර්මාණයත් පද රචනයත් ඔහුගේ කියලයි.

එහෙම නම් රූකාන්තට අයිතියක් තියෙනවා නෙ මේක කියන්න BnS ට අවසර දෙන්න එතකොට BnS ලගෙ වැරැද්දක් නෑනෙ???

BNS cha... BNS la dan hadana vdos n tracks melo rahak naha. BNS lage essarama songs wala quality 1k tiyanawa.. eth dan lankawe artist lagen 90% wadiya ayage music melow rahak naha.

(excuse for my words.. bt this is the real situation in sri lankan music industry. so how we touch international charts??)

Do not copy or steal.. for stealing is only a evolved version of copying and a pathetic excuse for copying.
Arts is all about originality.think..create..inspire..

i was actually there in the release and BnS had obtained written permission from Rookantha to perform the song that's in dispute. So i don't think there'll be any problem with that at all. Besides whenever BnS have remade or remixed a song, they always do it following the correct procedure. Everyone accusing them about the wasanthaye i advice them to check the booklet that came with the album. they had acknowledged that the song was made using the air on G string music piece. BnS are actually doing a huge favor to the Sri Lankan music by remaking old songs. If you take either master sir or Ma handawala they've remade the songs in a such a caliber that the original artists are really proud of that. I heard the lyricist of Master Sir commenting about BnS version, He claimed that tears actually fell from his eyes after hearing that version.
BnS have lead the Sri Lankan music in to such revolutionizing situation. we are actually on par with the international music. I'm not trying to defend BnS here, but no one in Sri Lankan music has such stage presence, no one is dynamic as them and no one reaches out to the audience as them. anyone who had seen them performing would certainly agree with me!
besides i don't see what's all this fuss about? they are giving the credit to the original artists. heck! we had singers in 70s that carbon copied hindi movie song tunes and sung them in sinhala. the songs even had matching sinhala lyrics to the hindi ones? these guys are just trying to bring the old songs to the youth in a manner that they can enjoy. and arts is not necessarily all about creating something new, it's also about presenting something that's already there in a fresh and different manner!

BnS did not compose the track machan! they just sung it! the composition was done by someone called Dilan Agunawela! so BnS aren't really the ones to blame. Besides it was for commercial use, namely Rexona. So they must've not paid that much attention to the small details.

machan they've credited both the music piece, which is air on g string, and the composer in their booklet. So they were basically improvising the song. When talking about Ma handawala the song was both composed and written by Rookantha it seems. I was there in the album release, and rookantha talked in that told that BnS have his full consent to remake the song and that he actually liked what they've done with the song! So i basically don't think there'll be that much of a big case about that song!
