Sirasa is very smart for political hidden campaigns! they know that Brg Shavendra has a good chance of becoming a Future Commander! so if they think he is a threat (to some clearly understandable group), by way of promoting him like this they can make few rivals against him inside and outside the army( among government politicians) and also in the community, making his way very difficult! So dont jump in to conclusion on sirasa works, never trust sirasa!
Sirasa make people and demolish people according to their agendas!
even if Brg Shavendra wants politics i dont think he want to get support from Koti Sirasa!

I thought that he would come to politics
from opposition
for the sole reason
that Sirasa
extends support for him.

Don't you think that
if he comes into politice from oposition
Sirasa is the best channel and only available channel for him.
Do you think ITN and Rupavahini
would support him.
If he comes against Mahinda
you know how would they treat him.
Just because many name Sirasa as Koti Sirasa
he wouldn't drop Sirasa,
because he would not have any votes among them.

Just tell me what will happened to voters
who respected Mahinda for the sole reason of War victory
if A War Hero contests against him.
