Friend, FDD and TDD are two technologies used in the industry and not frequencies. I am not sure of the bands different operators use. ( dialog uses 1.9Ghz Lankabel 2.3GHz and SLT 2.6GHz as per the public domain information)
I do not know about the CPE model you mentioned and as per web it supports both. But TRCSL does not allow an operator to bring down CPE of technologies not operated by them, Eg. CDMA is a widely used mobile technology but lankabell cannot bring CDMA mobile phones. Usually, TRC ask operators to customise CPE by disabling them.
If anyone having present inside information to operators or TRC Can comment.
For your information, Dialog uses 2.3Mhz for TDD and 1.8Mhz for FDD.
Its true that regulator does not allow a TDD operator to use FDD. But, my point here was that the particular router models do support both TDD and FDD.
Hence, there is no restriction in using mobile SIMs in a 4G router (I do!)
In Dialog, DBN (Dialog Broadband Networks pvt ltd) has the TDD license and they are not allowed to market it as "movable" product. For example, recently Dialog has to removed the batteries (for new connections) of their Fixed 4G routers due to this regulation.
Router models provided by Dialog are Huawei B593, Bandluxe R500 & Huawei E5172. All of them support frequency and time division.
By the way, did I mention anywhere that "FDD" and "TDD" are frequencies?
