i already have multiple vehicles so not in a rush for a new one. If requesting/applying is begging then people who migrated beg the most.. they are in a new country so they beg for a job, house to rent, vehicle, health, schools, gov affairs endless...

I have already travelled a lot and visa process is not a burden for my schedule, i always get accepted
if i really want i can go with the previously mentioned tax free dual citizenship route.. but no such requirement raised yet

There is a big difference between begging for migration vs begging for gas and petrol ;)

My question was do you accept travel becomes easy for a citizen coming from a country with good passport ranking ? Do you accept it?

i don't beg for gas or petrol and have solar in my company
1st world passports give faster access but we can get same kind of access + big cash cheque every month using alternative methods as mentioned before

so when 1st world joe dreaming and colleting money for his next adventure we already travel in style...

Now i am starting to wonder who are you ? You have everything in a country investors will think twice to invest. Your dad is a politician ?

Btw what do you mean by getting faster access similar to a 1st world country passport ? If you're talking about getting visa from embassy or visa center i think it's not something I would believe as faster access. I assume you're talking about getting a 2nd citizenship from one of those countries with citizenship programs. If your answer is yes think you already agree on my point.

Now i am starting to wonder who are you ? You have a very comfortable life in a country investors will think twice to invest. Your dad is a politician ?
local people always have an advantage over foreign investors, its same as we can't directly invest in Vietnam and thrive there like their locals do...
i don't have a fake starting from slum story to highlight my achievements, i am from a normal middle class family with very nominal income..
but after many failed attempts got hold of a trade which gave me this financial freedom..

This is not luck and i am not the only person.. there are many many big earners in SL..

entrepreneurship is hard so everyone will not succeed, so you have to make your own choices depending on your abilities....
SL or abroad good luck to all of our Sri Lankans!

Its a different topic i should discuss one day with a separate thread. Not everyone can become successful in entrepreneurship. Anyway congratulations on your achievements.

Why not. What do you not have here if you're rich? Don't say gas or electricity. You only want 5 laks to fit up a solar panel on your roof. No electricity or gas problems then for the whole life.

Anywhere is great if you have money. It's just that it takes less money to be rich in Sri Lanka. But the problem is that you have deal with terrible infrastructure. Even if you buy the most expensive apartment in the city, you still have to get through same traffic, experience power and water outages, deal with lack of access to basic services you'd otherwise find in another country.
This is a very sensible comment. Only you been rich will not increase your quality of life.

If you earn more than 1 million in passive income and got good government connections like politicians, police, military etc. Why not?i think it's about the way you want live your life. As for me i live abroad but still prefer sri lanka only reason i came abroad is to earn some extra cash to buy some real estate in sri lanka.i assume if i have cash flow at least 1 millon,20 acre of arable land,at least 2 decent vehicles i can live happily. As for my family living back in SL we have solar for my home,Gas is no problem since we have free electricity also we use firewood from a long time to cook since maid is doing the cooking. However for someone who's building his life from zero and planning on doing job and got no entrepreneur or business mindset please migrate sri lanka is not for you.
