Centaurus A (NGC 5128)
Centaurus A is a galaxy in the constellation of Centaurus. It is one of the closest radio galaxies to Earth and the fifth-brightest galaxy in the sky but the galaxy is only visible from low northern latitudes and the southern hemisphere. A collision is suspected to be responsible for the intense burst of star formation.
