G31MX-K 1.0 support only 1333Fsb

G31MX-K 2.0 with E7300,DDR2 800 4GB,64 bit Vista ultimate,ATI 3850.

I never wanted to overclock my 2.66 7300 or ether my ATI 3850.
Since GTA4 runs acceptably at 1074*768 . I m using a LG true Flat 19 inch CRT
If you put high texture levels on GTA 4 at 1280*1024 then it will crush most powerful systems out there ,Coz it is horribly optimized for the PC

@Nagaya, Machan, uba oya board eka wikunapan. Intel boards ganna (dunno why) minissu porakanawa mehe. Wikunala G31 ekak ganin. Maara widiyata OC wenawa. Besides, you don't need to worry about frying it coz of the three years warranty .

@Chanaka, Machan, the boards are identical hardware wise. If you flash your board with the 2.0 BIOS you can get 1600 FSB. Download the BIOS from Google and install that Fox LiveUpdate program (in your motherboard CD) and choose the file you downloaded and flash. 1600 FSB with no extra cost .

Nah, the max FSB is 1600. Check your manual .

Temps are 44C idle and 65C full load with Orthos and RealTemp.

Crap that mobo sucks. BUT, you still can volt mod it though .

Btw, why not pick up the board I have? Just 5400 bucks at PC Partner. You can OC much more with that and the FSB is 1600. For 5400 bucks, it really is worth it if you want to OC more. I have CPU voltaged up to 0.2500V and RAM volts up to 0.30.

If you are talking about the GB board, it wasn't available anywhere.

Overclocking is FUN, not a necessity most of the times. I sometimes needed to overclock the VGA to get acceptable performance though. Either way, I run the CPU overclocked all the time, and VGA overclocked whenever playing a game (else underclocked as low as possible )

I was taking about my board, the Foxconn.

PC House has the Gigabyte board, but its not 5500 like the price index says, I wasy going to get that and went there, then they told me that they only have the ES2L which is way more expensive. I don't wanna pay that much for its 'Energy Efficient' feature. Screw that .

Hi i want to overclock my processor and have read alot of reviews on how to do it. I just need to know how much do you think my Intel Pentium D (930) (dual core) 3.0 ghz can reach. I don't want it to reach a very high status but one where normal stock can take are of it as i'm not using the best equipment.
Here are my comp specs.

3 GB DDR 2 667MHZ. Kingston
Asus 9600gt
450W Mercury PSU.
Got 3 Fans working on the inside.
