Then he tucked his fingers into the wound dragged at his flesh, tearing it up across his chest like a snake discarding his skin. It began to rain at that very moment. And it rained for four days. That magician in the tailcoat gave me a terrible power over my enemies. He taught me the use of the terror shout. It took me 18 years to perfect it. Now I can kill with it. Kill. Instantly.

- Yes, all right. I find this very interesting, but I think that two days without food have affected your mind quite badly.

Monster Man 2003*

- [...police discovered the body of a man murdered inside his motor home. No details were released. Police would only comment that it was a grisly scene inside the camper trailer. KTML has unsubstantiated reports that the body was decapitated. Satanic ritual is suspected as indicated by the large pentagram drawn in the field, apparently with the vehicle's wheels...] That's the motor home where we stole the gas.

- I know. Oh man, this whole trip is turning into a nightmare.

- Welcome friend. I'm so glad you could be here with us tonight.

- Go to hell.

- I already did. And that's why I'm here with you today. Actually, I have my sister here to thank, too. You're probably wondering why we've brought you here. See, brother Bob was driving his truck around, blasting his music, acting all macho while offloading. But he was basically drunk on his own testosterone. Anyhows, brother Bob doesn't see me taking a leak over near the creek, he done clean runs me over. But he doesn't notice the tree up ahead. Next thing brother Bob knows, he's flying through the windshield. Brother Bob survived, though. And my sister was able to sew him back together. I was a different story. Luckily, Sister's studying witchcraft. She starts praying to the devil, and praise Satan 'cause I done rise from the dead. But there's a catch. For me to stay alive, our lord Lucifer needs a sacrifice. So every full moon, brother Bob must go out and run someone down, just like he did me.

- That explains the guy he mowed down behind the motel.

- You catch on quick, boy. Anyways, once brother Bob has done his work, sister does what she does. Chanting and drawing her pentagrams. Anyhows, the life energy of that poor soul that brother Bob flattened, goes and restores me. I was not a pretty picture. The bones in my arms and legs were shattered, lost an eye, too. I was nothing but a rag doll, really. Until sister started experimenting sewing other people's arms and legs onto me. Well, we couldn't just kill peoples and take their limbs, no. No, we discovered we had to let them live if we wanted my new arm or leg to take. But it's too bad we couldn't borrow a torso that would work. Always turned into a bloody goddamn mess. That's where you come in. Sister found a new book of spells and such. She found I could have me a whole new body if it were prepared right.

- Prepared right?

- Yeah. This devil's manual she came by explains that with the right rituals and the correct dark ceremonies prior to slicing and dicing and hitching and stitching, we wouldn't have the problems we've had before attaching a torso to me.

- We needed someone pliable. Someone easy to prepare. And that you were. Step one, we needed a body to voluntarily step inside a pentagram with a decapitated body. Phase two, we needed you to sleep with road kill. Item three and four came easy. She needed to taste your blood, and take your virginity. Four times just to be sure.

- What was the last thing? I had to eat the dead?

- Almost last thing. The final step in preparing you was simple. You had to be scared to death. I think brother Bob did a fine job of doing that. I want to thank you for letting me have your beautiful body, young man.

- Prosecutor: "I remember. We all watched it because it was said to be possessed. Something odd was filmed. Someone appears in the mirror and disappears. It looked like a face of a young man. It was a hazy image, at an impossible angle"

- [We confirmed the tape's existence at the police evidence storage. We did whatever we can do to find the tape, but it was likely to have been destroyed a long ago. The primary detective obtained the tape and tried to make a copy, but for some reason, it couldn't be copied. He ended up filming the TV screen, and recorded a playback for evidence submission. I wanted to pass it off as an urban legend. But this story refused to leave my mind, and we decided to make a documentary. But... no one could have known where we'd end up]

[Why is the boy's soul still drifting around the inn? While we were researching, we heard a strange rumor]

The Pope's Exorcist 2023*

"Remember, the demon will use your sins against you. Do not believe everything you see or hear"

- I noticed this when I first arrived. You recognize this?

- Yes, it's the seal of the Spanish Inquisition.

- The darkest time in the history of the Church(watch). There is something underneath this place. Something is hidden here. Two crossed keys. Do you recognize this?

- It's the Vatican seal. I understand the Vatican sealing this place off. But why would they leave someone?

- He was the final hope, the last protector. It looks like he's a prisoner, but he's not. The cage is for his own safety. They do this when an exorcism fails. To protect against a demon's escape, to trap something they need to remain hidden.

- The gases and the sulfur, it's getting stronger.

- We are getting closer to hell. The Friar De Ojada. One of the greatest exorcists of all time. His journal. "The exorcist becomes possessed himself." You know he is the man who convinced Queen Isabella of the need for an Inquisition? So that means from the time he is possessed in 1475, everything that happens after this is the work of the devil. Centuries of persecution and torture, the worst abuses of the Inquisition, all started by the friar and done in the name of God by the devil. The Vatican must have known this. The Church covered it up. And they buried the truth here.

- The construction work must have freed the demon.

- "The great dragon was hurled down. Hurled into the earth, where he was bound."

- "And his angels with him." Revelations (Revelation 12:9)

- Two hundred rogue angels buried into the earth. This abbey is one of those godforsaken places. This demon, he was trying to find them. To raise an army and destroy the Church. His name... the king of hell... Asmodeus.
