Guys this is not an old member's chat thread to bash elakiri new members, systems etc.. when you get 1min free time off your facebook time or office time.

So if you don't like the new members or systems or what ever things then contribute to the community and you can always make it your own way. community always changing its shape depending on the members.
So if you want to make a change then act! It'll be great to have your contribution with experience and talents as old members.

But If you can't bother, have no time, have no interest etc.. then we don't need any busy advisers or prayers for old days.

i allowed almost 400+ posts to critizise rep system or what ever stuff you guys don't like. But do you have any better solution? NO

This is just a thread praying for old days saying it was like heaven which is absolutely false.

also, no body was seen praying so I don't really know what on earth you are talking about, a thread was posted by a relatively newer member criticizing an aspect of the reputation system and others who felt compelled contributed, the way I see it, this thread is as valid as any thread can be.

I haven't seen any better solution. I told you about the down side of your thumb up system which will make people go after post count again.
Then you say members get recognition on the community by sense which is so basic and only applicable to members who are spending lot of time here.
And you can get that sense only in that your subject area.

So i haven't seen any better solution yet. People can drool over old days or their friends but it will not help.

I think everyone here (the old peeps) was just commenting on the posts and was catching up (may be)

one of the biggest problem you had with the old members was that no one was willing to pamper you for being the admin. You were always thrashed about and manhandled

But now, with all the hormone raging little pimps, they do let you revel in the "God factor" aint it?

nope. In this thread, i have mentioned many times that there is no 100% fool proof system. Nothing is 100% perfect in life. But we keep the best system out of the lot.

any way good thread.. respect your attitude..

as well as my self (GAC), Chriela & Snow white, joined with EK is to be in touch with Sri Lanka & Lankan community when we were abroad.. in our leisure times we didnt had much things there to do as well as we found few of nice members in this..
