Best thing is if you wanna apply for green card, go to the relevant Embassy and find out!

Don't pay a cent to anyone. The website you should apply thru is www.dvlottery.state.gov (some friends have already indicated this one)

But you have to wait till October 2008 for the next turn. Then that site will be open for applications normally till December 3rd or 4th. During that time you can apply for the lottery drawn for 2010.

All what you need is a photo (according to their specs). Even if you pay someone, they will also have to go through the normal procedure. The only advantage is they will apply on behalf of you for the next 2 years also. But no guarantee.

Hey,

U must be verycareful when u apply for green cards.

All websites realted to Green Cards are scams.

You can pick application from the US Embassy in Colombo or visit their website. Thats is the only way you can apply.

Green Card Lottery application accept within October and mid December period.
