Intel is good for high computation works like scientific works, multimedia applications , to host multiple system due to intel visualization tech but it's cost when it comes to
regular people's pocket. in fact Sandy Bridge processors has internal graphic card which can used to play some older games before 2006 I suppose. in other hard AMD is cheap, less power consume, better support if use AMD(ATI) graphic cards , and definitely you got a better onboard graphic card with your motherboard compare with Intel's shit HD series. one of AMD's triple core processors used in Xbox360 and it's still better since 2006. triple core is a great choice for mainstream gamers it's cheap, a better solution for any modern game relatively Intel's Quad Core and Dual Core. there is a no huge advantage or disadvantage of both companies.
