    වින්ඩෝස් ඔෆිස් නම් activators open source නේ. මේකෙත් trial reset එක open source. ඒ මගුල වැඩ කරන්නැතුව ගියානෙ :sorry:

It doesn't matter if it is open source or not. What it does is, it fucks up the file system and registry, the only difference is that you have the ability to see how they fuck up your system.

If you want to have a secure and reliable PC, then

install windows from the official ISO, use a Key to activate it.
Install & update your drivers via Windows Update & manufacture's web site only. Don't use any software to install Drivers.
Use Open-Source Software & Install the paid ones using valid keys or valid activation system
Do not use any System Clean & Optimizer Software

Just Install Windows & let it be. If you want to clean, learn how to use the in-built system tools

Well I have the wherewithal to understand none of the renowned open-source Windows/office activation scripts or the IDM trial reset script would "fuck up" the file system or the registry - at least the ones I've been using - plus there is a community of thousands on GitHub and Reddit who actively develop and monitor said scripts...

It's not like a game or similar software that the user can completely isolate and block access to the internet, it's software that runs 24/7 in the background and has access to every web source you visit so there's no way one could blindly trust some dodgy patch

Yeah, that's exactly it. Thousands of users "Monitor" said script. If you have enough knowledge and the intent, you could exploit the loopholes created by those said scripts. I agree to the fact that those open-source activators are hundred times better than cracks or patches you found on the internet. But they still corrupt the original file system, it will not behave the same way if you activate using a valid key.

+ Windows Defender is a good antivirus option, and you may not need to install any other free antivirus software

Nah it didn't "corrupt" anything, for example the trial resetter just deleted the registry keys IDM used to store their trial period data (registry keys that remained behind even if you completely uninstalled the product)

The thing is none of the open-source scripts that are used to activate essential software alter the original file system in a nefarious way, even Windows official support uses those activation scripts to fix activation issues sometimes (although they would never admit to it lol).

You can't say the same about cracks and patches, that's why using them on essential software is discouraged even by the pirate community

Yes I agree, It is a good option. but it comes with two major problems

    1. You can easily disable the protection, even uninstall it using a simple script.

    2. If I have created a virus program, the first anti-virus I would use to test the program is Windows Defender, If you can't go past Windows Defender, what is the point of creating a virus.
