Iphone 5 battery

Hi I am using iphone 5 and there is a problem with battery . When using 3G iphone heat and I can use only 2-3 hours maximum doing nothing just few times using Internet . But when using wifi it is not a problem . My friends have iPhone 4S/4 and there is no problem with 3G . I still have warranty . Is this normal problem ?

Depends on reception. If you are in a bad reception area that could happen easily.
