It must be one hell of a drive
Driving Vancouver to Alaska in summer always in my bucket list

We had clocked > 8000 kms in total from Vancouver to Vancouver when we returned the car. This excludes the outward journey by sea from Victoria Island to Skagway. We covered a large area in Canada itself - Canadian Rockies, Jasper, Banff etc.
Even in the summer it snowed in Banff, pure white snow. These parts have the natural beauty at it's best.

I drove to Banff a couple of weeks ago, and it was magical. Especially, the Icefields Parkway highway from Banff to Jasper felt like another world.
