From my experience down south Sinhalese are good nothing wrong
with them. but when talking about politicians they are guilty.

When we talk about the innocent Sinhalese ppl(yes our own ppl)
in the down south , they are really nice,good and they live as their alone
without troubling or disturbing others.But talking about politics it's a shitt
hole, I hate that. The top mouth-openers are from Mathara and Hambanthota.
Ex- our Mahinda/Sarath Fonseka are both from there. and also Mervin Silva
who condemed the Sinhalese nation infront of international community,if
