there is a problem in 3d tvs and all leading companies have changed their methods of making tvs and many countries have blamed that these so called 3d tvs caused EYE problems as the depth of field is not set properly.. so eventually 3d tvs became cheaper..
i dont recommend anything other than normal common brands like sony, samsung and lg.
i personally use sony bravia ..well balanced colors ..lg is not upto proper standards..if u keep sony samsung and lg together youl clearly see that lg is blury.. and out of all samsung will be bright as hell and will give you superb unmatched colors unlike sony..thats why people go for samsung..but not for long..using maximum performance and giving superior quality reduces lifetime..
so sony is what i like..and try to avoid fancy features in the tv if your buying..like RADIO,AMBIENT SENSOR (OR WATEVER SENSORS) coz they are likely to give you truble..
for an exaple ambient sensor sets brightness and contrast according to the environment (bright when its light, dark when its dark or vise versa) if it becomes faulty while working, you wont be able to set colors again..so if u get 1 be sure to turn it off and do the settings manualy..
tips to buy
1.check how many component inputs are there
2. how many HDMI inputs
3. other inputs like vga,optical out,usb
4. whether package includes wall mount (optional)
5. whether the tv supports FULL HD 1080p/60P. (not hd ready)
6. if its 3d , check whether the 3d glasses are included
7. whether the tv has normal screen or something like GORILLA CORNING GLASS
8. whether the tv has AUDIO OUT (2.1,5.1)
buying the bigest tv will give u more trouble..biggest is not the best..dont go for BIG tc screens if ur not intended to watch BLURAY, 3D movies..your DVD player videos will luk like VCD when you put it..and our local tv channels are analog and standard is 4:3 box screen not wide screen..so some of the tvs does not have conversion kits so that you will see people like streched and wide (digata adila giyapu moonu balanna ona nane)
i think these help you out..i get maxximum out of my tv and thought of all those things which is value for money and i dont have to change it for some time..
ah anika dont buy smart tvs..worthless..tv eka tv eke wade ta ganin..pc eka pc eke wadata tiyaganin..
so get a GOOD TV AND A BLURAY PLAYER
or a tank if ur looking for one i have it.
