chatgpt is a game changer. but google has their own chatbot called lambda which is said to be more advanced than chatgpt
google follows a more conservative approach by weighing the pros and cons of releasing it to the public where a biased AI model may give out wrong or offensive information that can harm google's public image. open AI (creators of chatgpt) don't have the same concerns
another problem is the googles advertising based business model which is not compatible with a chatbot that gives the answer directly instead of sending searchers to different sites to drive site traffic.
since using chatgpt I can say that it's miles ahead of the traditional search being offered by search engines. seems like this is going to be the next big thing in search tech
