Next President

I would vote for Ranil or Anura because I don't see any alternatives. If Anura contests as the common opposition candidate I will choose Anura as the president, but I will not vote for the JVP in next parliament election as their policies aren't practical (as I think).
I still think UNP led government can develop our country. But JVP and Fonseka's party should be partners of it, as they can impact UNP government to be more patriotic.

Anyway I'm still in a doubt whether Sri lanka needs a executive president or not.

Ranil and Anura to most extents are foreign agents. They do not have a vision or mission to genuinely develop Sri Lanka. All they want is to kick MR out of precidency which they and their foreign backers are well known that even though having some issues MR is doing what he can to Sri Lanka in his capacity.

The only way forward for Sri Lanka is through Mahinda Rajapaksa whether we like it or not.

what about mahinda rajapakshe financing our country through chinese banks. And by that he is giving the authority to control most of our developments to china. Also He doesn't have knowledge about economics and just investing in useless projects. (except highways and roads)

Okay I can Ignore above for certain extent at least if he can maintain our legal system justly. But as he is not following country's law and therefore he cannot say his followers ( members of his party) to follow the law.

Well when there is no one else to fund us we have to find some one suitable. They are the lesser of the two evils. Besides Sri Lanka and China is having a phosphorus trade partnership for 1000s of years. Chinese still remember our Rubber - Rice pact in 1950s with great commendation.

Sure MR do not know much about economics. So do Ranil and Anura. That is why we have officials like P.B. Jayasundara to handle critical issues in Economics. And how do you say roads and harbors and useless projects?

They are much better than the US-EU funded projects such as Mahaweli development project, Samanala wewa project etc.

The issue with the legal system does not materialized with MR. It has materialized due to our erroneous constitution. Once we changed the constitution of JRs then we can have a better legal system.
