SLIIT nam ithin BSc (hons) degrees 3yi. General BSc degree 1yi thiyanawane. (Maybe now they have more than that : www.sliit.lk)

SLIIT eka UBC eken approved degree ekak machang denne.

Uni of Colombo karanna puluwan nam , eeka thamai elama. But ithin you have to have good results in A/Ls ne.

SLIIT ekata just 3 passes enough. Even you can do their BSc general degree if you have a pass! (1 subject!)

Issarath athi hodak naha. But compared to others, I feel it's better.

Most of the people think it's bad coz they don't teach all... which we used to during shool.

But after a while you realise higher studies means that you need to learn by yourself. Unis just provide the proper background.

Machang UoC eka gana 100% not sure ok. Gayanr or Heshan reply karai for sure.

A/L good results walin uni giyoth BSc eka karanna puluwan.

BIT nam externally karanna puluwan machang.

BIT and BSc are 2 different programs in Uni.

BSc - Bachelor of Science. BIT - Bachelor of Info Tech.

So machang BSc degree eka karanna puluwan IT walin UoC eke. So that's called BSc in IT. which is higher in standard than BIT!

BSc degree ekak karala MSc karanna puluwan machang. If by luck you're in Australia, then you can do the PhD starightaway after a 4 year BSc hons degree.

BSc -> MSc -> PhD thamai normal path eka wenne Any field!

Medicine karala passe PhD eka IT walin karannath puluwan

Guys listen..nomatter how much U guys argue there are regulations from governemnt Education Ministry. Upto now there are only just 3 recognised and standardized degrees in Sri Lanka. Accoding to them all other degrees(ACBT,ICBT,APIIT) are I am very sad to say are crap.

There rating are as follows.

1.NIBM
2.SLIIT
3.Open University

we all have to accep this.

Ya true. If you're planning to be in Sri Lanka those are the only standardised paths. (Other than the normal Govt Unis.)

BSc is for internal students only(Which comes from A/L results)you have to have a Z-Score nearly about 2.000 if u come from Colombo District(that is for Computer science degree-BSc)
and about BIT .its for external students i dunt know much about the A/L results they ask for,surely u have to pass all the subjects..

Ya machang, AFAIK they need 3 passes (new) or 4 passes (old) to do the BIT.
