I am not aware of what the Canadians found... But I always suspected that this is the virus they made in 2010 as proof of concept that a Coronavirus can be manipulated to be highly infectious to humans. This was stored in the Wuhan Lab. The five Chinese scientists who made the change never published the whole Genome sequence. That's why now no one can make a claim or prove it.

The Chinese were the first to come out with the full genome sequence of the Wuhan virus in no time. This is not what I said, Five Chinese scientists made a virus in 2010... They did not publish the full genome sequence of this. This escaped the lab. But no one can do a comparison of this with the Wuhan virus.
Anyone can sequence the full genome without any problem.

A virus does not simply escape a lab, as we are all aware. So, someone must have got it out of the labs.
