Wait and find out.........would i say useless if it will be usefull in the future? Its a review man.....everytime you click on it they get money:D
any link to guru 3d that post x-ram willbe usefull?
U think im dumb that review which u just showed was published on August 22, 2005 ..when the X-Fis were launched.....
    AUGUST 22, 2005
i think by now, it's already "future"
and no... we don;t see any benefit of Xram do we?

Speak up man....tell tell.....again google and show us a review......this is fun :D
Yes it's fun to teach you bro hehe then check these.

2001 - They start to ship 64bit processors but still most of us use 32bit applications.

2002 - Intel introduced HT (Hyper threading) it took many years to make software that uses HT technology and still its not widely in use.

2005 - They introduced dualcore but still most applications can't use the power of it.

Plus you said sound hardware upgrades very slowly not like processors and vga etc.. so its like an investment and you can use for years up to date etc..
So what you say now bro? :P I showed you how its with processors which you called as fast updating so now what you expect from slow updating sound hardware? Use in 2020 :P heheh don't worry about it, won't be that long and it will come very sooner than that. Its already giving advantage in new games so future it will be a good improvement once the software start to support it. So don't get disappointed with 2005 introduced X-Ram.

Check what creative telling about X-RAM

64bit=64bit stuff are available these days just that in SL it is not very popular.....
HT=What is HT? in brief Hyper Threading means 1 core virtually divided in to 2 cores so that it can run multiple threads...Windows XP was introduced in 2001 n HELL it supports HT......It is very widely used though u simply don't know what you are talking about.....it is just a technology which allows a user to run 2 programs at the same time.....That too is not really effective because the 2 threads still go through the same core.......So its really popular...

Dual Core=What is dual core? A chip which has 2 logical processors n more effective when running 2 threads
    why?
because the 2 threads go through different processors instead of 1 in HT
Due to the dual core having 2 processors it doesnt necessarily means that it has double the power NO......it may increase your overall working speed by 50 or 60%...
Does XP support dual core=YES n there are lots of programs which use it....specially rendering and graphics applications....even @ the time dual core was launched there were programs .lots of programs...premier,3ds max,DivX,Itunes,HDTV playback,CloneDVD .. ...need i say more....They all use dual core n those softwares were still available from 2005 and before...

My fact still remains the Same spending 130$more for a Platinum Fatal1ty where a normal platinum is 260$ is a stupid thing a person(which is supposed to have knowledge about audio) would do....thinking that Xram will benefit...

I do help a lot of people regarding audio.... but i'm no expert... nor do i work for creative.... so when i cannot solve what is wrong with your setup, i'm sorry but please do "shove it up your own @SS".... geez...

    ayyooo..
    stop this men,....
    now x-ram is benefited by..
    gamers by increasing the fps's..
you know now they abandoned the tradition of..
using compress audios and use lossless audios for games..
read the full article and bench mark...
and the date of the article is February 7, 2006....

2006 this is 2008 it is the future

N do u really think paying 13000 more over a normal platinum is wise? just to gain a teeni weeni small increase of FPS??

that was tested with an old pc
    try core 2 duo etc
and stop looking at corporate review
    start looking for individual review

the world is moving on....it's like saying that hyper threading is greater than core2duo

So are you saying that there's no point using high-performance RAM?

Besides you should look at things more rationally, if we take average FPS in a game to be 25 even a 5 frame increase is a 20% increase!! Better RAM would also help you in better overclocking a system up to 50% or more increase in some cases, wouldn't that help better performing audio too?
