I agree machan. Wrangler is great value for money and is pretty much the only tough/hard core 4WD you can buy new these days (Since the Defender is out of production and you need drug money for a G wagon ) My bro-in-law use one in the US (think 2018 model) and he's quite happy with it.

Honestly, i'd stay away from any Jeep including the Patriot. Cheap plastics inside, quality control issues etc.. Jeeps are similar to Holdens, the overall quality is just not there. One of my friends top spec Grand Cherokee had a mis-aligned tailgate from factory.

Im a Landrover man, but yeah, i wont buy a used Discovery 4. It'll be sensible to stick to a Prado or Montero, especially to do proper off road driving in a massive country like this.

Good luck with the Paj hunt. Try to find one with the 3.2 Di-D diesel (i think the 2011 onwards had the highest power output). I belive this engine is superior to the D4D in the Prado.

Yeah i was thinking of buying a used Discover 4 as well but still the heart wants what it wants yeah 'Pajero'.

2. Jeep Grand Cherokee
3. FJ Cruiser

What should I look for? All below 150k odo. I'm asking about the overall specs not just off road since I'll be using it for mostly everyday travel to work.
