Is it 2x2 or 1x4 ?
1x4 :(
Northbridge is under lots of stress. I have to up the voltages a little bit more to make it POST. AUTO always works, but that is because the mobo automatically increases it to a level where it would POST. :(

hmm... so you wanna cool it a bit? Anyway does your mobo read it as 4GB? because I heard in some ASUS mobo if you install 1x4 it will only recognize less than 3GB because it seems there's some address space issue!!

Dont really know whether this is true but, even my mobo manual say so!!

Any idea?

64bit biatch! (There is an option to enable all the mem addresses, but should only do so if you have a 64bit OS)

I wanna cool it a bit because there is no active cooling on it, and it heats up to a point easily where you can't touch it for more than a second. :S

3GB -> 4GB upgrade lowered the overclock (at the same settings) :(
To achieve the same overclock, need to increase NB voltage further, and it is dangerous!

I'll be happy with 2.765GHz, until I *someday* buy a 45nm high multi Penryn Quady!

Guess more voltage on the NB, even after installing a NB fan, would be a bad idea.

Besides, 2.765GHz is almost as fast as 2.85GHz, because of the FSB strap issue in P5B series mobos.
