My brand new MIS Wind U100

Not a fancy computer at all, but extremely portable, and pretty much the best netbook for the money. Specs are:

    Intel Atom 1.6GHz w/HT
10" LCD (very very bright, even in bright sunlight 80% is more than enough)
    2GB RAM
    160GB HDD
    802.11 b/g
    Bluetooth
1.3mp webcam (full resolution only for stills)
Additional 9 cell battery on the way which will provide a solid 9 hour uptime with WiFi enabled

    Tweaks:
Adjustable clock speed from within OS
Green/Eco = 800mhz Only available when running on battery
    3543777900_1743901a0c.jpg

    Blue/Normal = 1.6GHZ Available on battery and A/C
    3543774968_c8595f4f38.jpg

    Orange/Turbo = 1.98GHz Only available when on A/C
    3543798526_56a9dba501.jpg

A nice tweaking tool called GMABooster allows over clocking of GMA950 Graphics chip from 166MHz to 400MHz, which in combination with turbo mode provides a Windows 7 experience of 2.5, which is quite good

Overall, to me at least, this is the ultimate PC for me because of the portability (weighs only about a kilo), and as a bonus it won't burn your thigh because it doesn't heat up much at all. Plus it's pretty cheap and I don't baby it like my life depended on it, nor would I feel bad when it becomes obsolete because I'll be able to afford to replace this at least twice a year. And for those who think typing on this is going to be like typing on a toy, let me dispel your fears; You can see from the last photo I've got pretty large hands, and I can type on this keyboard perfectly well. The only issues I have is that I'm so used to a Dell keyboard I end up pressing the wrong key combo for certain functions. But as far as normal typing goes, it works very well. Oh and did I mention its completely hardware compatible with Ubuntu and Windows 7 RC out of the box? :D I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix in the picture.

Here's a video of it booting into Windows 7. It's not over clocked.
