ඔය වාහනේ France renault mother company එකෙන් අවා නම් ඔය මොනවත් නැ ..ප්‍රශ්නේ තියෙන්නේ වාහනේ නෙවෙයි bro...රට...ඉන්දියාව නම් කසිකබලක් තමයි..( යම් ඇත්තක් තිබේ )...ඇත්තම ඉන්දියාවේ ඉන්න අඩු අදායම් අයට තමයිනේ මේ low budget ඒවා හදන්නේ...එත් අපේ ලංකාවේ වාහන මිල අමුතුම එකක්නේ ..මේක ලක්ෂ 7-10 වගේ නම් වටිනවා..එත් 20+ නිසා තමයි ප්‍රශ්නේ...

But you guys are giving advice to a person who already bought a car and reviewing as the first owner of KWID in Sri Lanka

Oh come on, don't be ungrateful. If people didn't discuss same priced jap cars here the thread would never be on the first page of EK for this long.

And the reason to discuss Japanese vehicles here is to make sure potential KWID buyers take an informed decision on whether to go for the KWID or to not go for the KWID. (or any Indian - made vehicle for that matter)

When it comes to Japanese cars in the same price range, they are:

1. Safer than the KWID
2. Comfier than the KWID
3. Powerful than the KWID
4. Looks better than KWID (Beauty is in the eye of the beholder tho)
5. Handles better than KWID
6. Roomier than the KWID
7. Acceleration (pickup) is better than the KWID
8. Comes atleast with basic options such as PW. mirror/PW. Windows unlike the KWID
9. Fuel Economy is more or less the same
10. Maintenance cost would be little higher than the KWID
11. Doesn't depreciate like an Indian vehicle; 75% of the time you can sell the vehicle with a profit

12. Atleast 10 - 12 years older than the KWID
13. Vehicle should be thoroughly inspected by the authorized agent or an reliable third party before buying

These facts should be discussed for the sake of the potential carbuyer; that's exactly what we're doing here

Exactly, we're discussing Japanese cars that are in this price range (20-25 lakh).
Going back to the initial post I don't see you have mentioned this thread is exclusively for the KWID. (Well I'm not sure that will stop car enthusiasts from comparing the two ) but anyway the fact is you didn't stipulate such a condition initially and you actively expressed your ideas against buying an used Japanese - so saying the thread is to talk about the KWID and nothing else won't work now
