    read it first

    quoting from the article

    THEY RUST

“Fords rust, as do certain years of BMW and Mercedes. Certain years of Golf front wings rust, too.”

“Mk2 Focuses suffer a fair bit with tin worm, and my 58-plate Mk2.5 is starting to show signs of it.”

“Recently, I’ve seen more than one Mazda 6 with rotted sills and arches, as in large MOT failing holes.”

“Anything Japanese will still be prone to a bit of rust. It’s because they don’t use salt on the roads, so don’t need rust protection.”

“A lot of modern rust issues are specific failures — arch liners rubbing through paint, and blocked drainage channels.”

no i'm asking your(ppl who advice) qualifications to comment on kwid without even getting in one.... ridiculous isn't it :D:D:D

That you have the right to do, but please don't ask people to stay in topic or anything. Open forums no machan, that's how it goes. But if you take forums like XDA it's a very different culture.

I dont have words to explain this anymore

for an example, if some one is genuinely interested in the KWID

they should do a online research first

    then a test drive

and contact people who has it

but so they are not interested in buying another car. what is the importance of Japanese cars if they are interested in the KWID

that is the question that i've been asking these people over and over

and first they stared advising me when I have already got the car :confused::confused:

    :shocked: some people :shocked::shocked:

Because he has not bought it yet. he still has time to go for a better vehicle. no one will buy this pile of junk when there are better cars in the market. I'm not criticizing your purchase, I'm talking about these type of things in general

    I feel for you bro.

For future references this is how it should have been.

    1. Note down your cost and requirements. Think these 2 as a rail roads. These 2 points should govern your navigation. Just like a train. The moment you deviate from these 2 you loose.

    2. Now look at your options. NEVER focus on a single point. Talk to people in general. This is where you should talk with the experts, like in this forum for instance. Again in general.

    3. List down (always list down) your options and the pros and cons. And for any option you need to have a different set of pros and cons for present and then for future. They are different. They have to be.

    4. Now talk to your family / friends / significant other :)

So machan ur points are the breakdown for number 3 above. I guess somewhere down the line you missed 1 and 2. Which ended you here.

So there you go, now you know :)

yea I compared. there is no differences between a 1986 lancer (mine is not a lancer) and this thing which you got for 22lks except the age. GLX one even had power mirrors :P your's doesn't.

that lancer worths the price you pay for it. this thing doesn't.

I tried to be personal, Now I'm not.

because maybe some other one would buy it when there are dozens of alternatives around.

if they want to go for a kwid if its decided then what is the use

the thing is you just have to understand the meaning of genuine interest

if they want to buy a celerio or alto, they wouldn't look for kwid right

because celerio is a 1000cc car and it comes as AMT as well

try to understand this, what you guys are doing is stupid

I was interested in several cars,

I listed down the cost of everything for 3 years

since this car provided a better analysis with options I went for this

    thanks for your view point

A genuine question, were you aware that this was a DOHC? What were your thoughts on that.

DOHC was introduced to improve the volumetric efficiency of a given engine, lending itself to more power. DOHC more lately is used over SHOC as a first choice because of the ease of using variable valve timing which leads to greater control of emissions.
