I have a neutral idea about the peg. becoz you will only feel temporary trill from this. Company who earns in uSD$ should peg.

SLASSCOM are bunch of pussies according to my brother who works as a SE. His salary got pegged as well. But what the bugger is saying now even with the peg he cant still do what he wanted to do if his salary was the peg amount in 2019.

good ones earn north of $100k per anum in areas like blockchain, ML, AI

it’s not easy you have to follow the tech you can’t just be on the same spot and expect to achieve/earn a lot

stop giving rim jobs to these so called same re inventing the wheel fucktards study some engineering concepts and build your portfolio get into higher paying jobs by following the industry disruptive techs

ade sira. i was in virtusa now in sysco . well salary is obviously higher than old place but none of the mention places ( virtusa / sysco / IFS /Wavenet / Axiata Digital Labs ) do the peg. what they do is % of your salary . around 30-60% ,
my Qus is these big companies , will they pay the salary in USD ? Example designation wise cap . small scale ( Number of employees ) are paying the salary in USD?

I agree with you machan. finding remote job is not easy, but still there are some spaces to grab it. Someone needs it he or she has to work for it., no doubt.

but here machan, everyone does not have the same goal, and at some point they get combatable with their wages. and we can see some buggers they are just blaming their salary but don't do nothing from their side to improve themselves and get what they want. and this is the huge huge problem in this field in SL.

and if someone lives in Sri Lanka and getting the salary you mentioned ($30,000/per annum) that is a nice thing to have.
As a fresher also, one (SE) can get between $15000 - $20,000/ per annum while working in SL company also, we can find a few local companies which give the decent salary. why I say it is "decent" salary. because GDP per capita is $3500 - $ 4,000 here. but someone wants more and like to go abroad they can earn more. for ex USA they can get $100K - $250K /per annum. (their GPD is around $63,500 USD)., Europe (GE) they can get $42,000 - $145,00 /per annum (their GPD per capita is around $45,700).

and again, it depends on the person, I like your words man you used here "Get out of your comfort zone". That's the thing most people don't like to do machan. for ex I myself got ~$1,300/ per month as inter SE while my colleagues get $30-$100/per month. (*don't get me wrong, I don't like to mentioned these things in public. but I do love to motivate the people who read this "if they try they can see the bigger numbers in their salary slips",) and other thing is "it is not all about the salary, please consider about the working environment also" otherwise salary does not make you happy.

I hope these words can help at least one people to achieve what he/she wants
