We dont ask mora grads salary. we dont have that kind of problem.
I just say If there is not pvt uni or pvt degree what should i do even though i like to be in IT stream.

Because even you in gov uni, seems to me you dont have any good skiils and now we have become threat to you guys. If you really a Expert you dont come and put this kind of posts.

There is nothing about making standards. If you have certain skills and attitude you will get good paycheck.They dont consider you from pera/mora/SLIIT/NIBM or BCS. It ups to ourselves that making our talents and skills.

you know nothing dude. i cant imagine that you are in industry too. just check for their salaries. you 50k for two years they go for 100k as fresh graduates if your institute has good standard outcome will be far better. That's why you went for 30k maybe as fresh dont be foolish machan. let your juniors to get better salaries as IT professional. Some times why they keep secret salaries in reputed companies? Just think about it too you better to have a friend from HR dep. too . so you will know more things .

I know lots of people who gets 100k to 150k as starting salaries coming from
SLIIT/IIT and BCS and i know lots of GOV Uni people gets 30k as ASE.
That three reasons,
1. Your Knowledge
2. Your Communication Skills
3. How you perform at interview.

So i say it again its up to you change your paycheck. BTW i usually dont like to speak about my salary but i am not taking 50k exactly. i am taking above that and this year i am entitled to get 20k increment. To me its okay since i know my knowledge and exp.

In my company they offer salary based on the designation and the performance, here we have Mora IT, CS, APIIT, SLIIT, IIT. So i have seen there are people from private universities getting promoted based on the performance. Even within Mora CS batches the person have the 2nd class degree have promoted before the one who has 1 class.

Yes there could be salary levels based on the degree and the class when you join as a fresh, but after 2 or 3 years it could be totally differ how you perform in the industry. Dude you going to work for 20-30 years, so a low salary at first 2-3 years does not matter if you are in a good career path and perform very well

90% in sliit goes for 25k as QAs some as ASE for 30-40k . this is the truth . But when it comes to Mora, UCSC 90% go for above 100k. Take the average outcome of institutes. It says what is the standard of your institute. By the way good luck with your increments .

okay lets assume that moratuwa,UCSC people don't get increments with the time passes. then only your argument going to be true . Basic salary always matters when you join as a fresh graduate. I could not get enough results to get in gov uni. And at that time my parents dont have enough money to put me in SLIIT. So i choose BIT(External) which is same content for BIT Internal degree. Vice Chancellor told there is no difference between BIT(Internal) and BIT(External) during the convocation.

So I passed it with a second upper and now i have 2 years exp and bring home more than 50k. This year i am about to get another salary increment.

what will happened if there is no pvt uni or any external degrees.
