    How to calculate Loyalty Data?
    • Loyalty Data bundle will be calculated based on history and the package.
    • Loyalty data will be accumulated every month.
      • Eg: if a customer stays on Web Pal for 1 year and Web Family Plus for 2 years, Loyalty Data will be calculated for 3 years based on data allocation for one year on Web Pal package and two years on Web Family Plus package.

where did you find this information?
In my case I have moved to Fibre connection from ADSL in last year. Still my loyalty data size is 0.1GB. But when I was in ADSL connection, I got 9GB

where did you find this information?

Looks like that info was taken from here.

Also, have a look at this formula which SLT uses to calculate the how much data is given per household.

Moreover, I've received a text message from SLT yesterday saying they've offered about 82.2gb of loyalty data for the last year so I decided to do the math to figure out if their claims are true. Turns out pretty accurate. (By the way I subscribed to ADSL back in late 2013 and upgraded to FTTH on late 2019.)

I started off 2020 with 6.6gb loyalty data if I recall correctly. They used to increase it by 0.1gb for the next 3 months (6.7, 6.8, 6.9 for feb, mar, apr. respectively) and stayed at 6.9gb until I realized they've dropped the auto increasement thing and implemented a way to claim that amount manually on VAS portal or the MySLT app last month (+0.1gb) thanks to someone who posted a thread here.

    6.6 + 6.7 + 6.8 + (6.9 x 8) + 7.0 = 82.3

Now look, I'm not trying to justify SLTs' shitty practices here, in fact I really dislike their anti-consumer/monopolistic behavior just as much as you guys do, but at the same time I'm certain on one thing: those of who claim a portion of their quota "disappeared" out of nowhere is likely due to user-error(s) on their end which they don't want to admit and ISP is not the one to blame in that case.

    EDIT:
I hope some of you are aware that, ever since SLT decided to include loyalty data bundle at the beginning of the month instead of somewhere in the middle (2nd week or so), there have been a glitch that allowed users to pretty much download as much as they want on the very first day of the month without having to worry a single megabyte deducted from your data quota. I won't go into details as to how to trigger this but I'm positive its been patched so if someone was able to exploit that glitch, please do let me know.

So here's where things get interesting, I reached out to a friend of mine who previously worked for the company who manages SLTs customer databases and he said something along the lines of "they're aware of that glitch and was able to narrow down a list of users who exploited it, but somehow they were unable to find out what caused it in the first place and apparently it costed more money to further investigate the issue therefore they decided to leave it as it is, that is at least until they ditch the automatic data increasement thing." So I'm convinced that they introduced the whole manual-calming system in order to overcome that problem the lazy way, which in return might have saved SLT alot of money and heck majority of users aren't even aware of the change as they didn't advertise anything.

All of the above is pure speculation though. I do not have solid facts to back up my theory however I can confirm that glitch was exploitable while it lasted (tried it myself) and my friend is pretty positive about what he said.

Thanks for the info machan. In my case the didn't updated my loyalty data count, it's calculating as a new connection. From last year to current date still it's 0.1GB.
