    Do you still believe what SLT says :P Common dude :rofl: It's so dumb of them to say 60% of the quality will be maintained. Any fool can understand what their ultimate target is. Telling you that it's 8 Mbps and limiting it to 60% of the promised speed and you won't even have a chance to complain as it is in their terms :P

    Yes, and I feel that the worst case scenario would be buying a 8mbps connection (minimum of 2mbps) and getting speed of 60 percent of 2mbps for the entire life :) (as the worst case scenario is usually the default settings for us in here)

    hope its not going to be a downgrade with a FUP which is gonna cost more.

:lol:

    That's more likely :lol: But anyway I don't think it won't go below 2Mbps since they have promised to maintain a minimum of 2Mbps. But dude is it worth transferring to one of these? Why can't they mention a precise speed? 2Mbps - 8Mbps? It's so fishy. Anyway SLT will never give a better connection. So save what you already have. That's my theory. We will see what their trick is and then decide whether to go for one of those new connections or not. Don't be in a hurry. That's how you get screwed ;)

    i believe that this gonna be another gimmick with kb - kilobytes and kilobits. like dialog does. they say 2mbps and it's damn slow. when asked they say their mbps stands for megabits, not megabytes.

    :eek:
    all internet connections are sold as megabits

    nobody sells megabyte internet connections

    2 Mbps, 4 Mbps, 12 Mbps, 16 Mbps, 24 Mbps .... 50 Mbps ... 100 Mbps .....& so on

    all megabits connections
