THE REASONING BEHIND GOVERNMENT EXAMS BECOMING TOUGHER
Well we just witnessed another results from a gov exam.(2008 A/L)Most of the people I knew who were bound to go to uni were sadly disappointed.”The tension of the exams “I thought must be the reason for them to perform so badly during the time of the exam. But my thoughts were horribly wrong. One person who was soo bright that we thought that the exam is a piece of cake for him had attained AAF.Can this be? Another person from who had done science had got results of commerce. Another one who had got BBB had attained a Z score of 1.3209 while another who had got CCC attained a Z score of 1.4

Meanwhile the O/L Math paper had been soo good that the authorities were forced to repeat it.
Why is this happening? These people are ruining young lives here. If the students who live in cities were affected by this what chance will stand for students who live in rural areas?
I am very close with my physics teacher. She said she once saw a very famous minister bribing and threatening a paper marking teacher to get good results for his son?How many are these kinds of things happening at the momemt?
According to a government insider whose name I would not like to say here said the reasoning behind these incidents is to get young talented ppl in to SL army. Well I’m not saying joining the SL army is not good. Protecting the country is a very good thing to do. But is it fair for students do it like this???

I suppose it didnt occur to you that these people didn't study enough ? According to the papers, there are students who has got 3 As while not having ministers as parents.

i suppose u will understand it better if u were a victim of this. But the incidents i said above are true.Even if u ignore the bribing incident and assume its a lie the factors are still there.

The incidents are just that. Incidents. Not the bulk of the results. Even if ALL the ministers had kids doing A/L last year and had influenced their results, that still is a only a small fraction of the total number.
A few incidents does not govern the total results or the total outcome.
Granted, those are shameful incidents and must be stopped but those few incidents does not mean that the ENTIRE exam was rigged.

small fraction number is still in the way of innocent students who did their studies well.If these ppl get in to uni then the innocent students will be left out.
    Am I right?
I did not say the entire exam was rigged.Plz read it carefully.

Your first post has this :
According to a government insider whose name I would not like to say here said the reasoning behind these incidents is to get young talented ppl in to SL army.
that implies that the whole exam is rigged.

no man i dont think it says that. But the fact remains that the gov is behind this and the reason i said earlier is true.
