i have became a Uber Partner driver in Sri Lanka just for fun. Yeah it shud be profitable. you can even ride in your leisure time. on the way to office. coming back, etc. (if you want to earn money of course) You will need a car manf, before year 2012 (i dont remember correctly) to eligible for UberX. Rest of the cars will fall UberGo (mine was Lancer CK2 1997 so it fell to UberGo along with Marutis and Nanos -- the passengers were even asking why im in Uber Go. -- UberGO incentives are less. Kmpl) They have some incentives likes 1 hour paree idala ride set une nattam cover karanawa e wage. check with them i dont remember. To ride uber your car needs to be insured with comprehesively (hiring vehicle insurance eka which will cost doubles if you currently hv jz the pvt one) If you are interested just give them a call they will tell you how to proceed. You will just need Vehicle revenue license, Police report, comprehensive insurance. Also google about the horror stories behind driving Uber. there's always a risk being a driver.
