The information which you have posted is correct.

I stand corrected

Following is a fucking lie.

If you apply in the UK and you still have leave remaining on your student visa, your employer will not have to pass the Resident Labour Market Test. This means that your employer will not have to search the UK and EU job market and prove that you were the most suitable applicant, before they can offer you the job. Furthermore, your application will not affect the restricted numbers of non-EU applicants that your employer can offer a job to. This will make it much easier for an employer to offer you a position in their company.

This was valid for the holders of PSW visa but there is no such thing anymore. So unless your job is in the shortage job list you have to pass the RMLB

btw what if my MSc. comes with 1 year Industrial placement ? Even then should the Employer go through RLMT process after 1 year (well assuming that they require my services further ) ?

I am not sure about Industrial replacements. Whatever the circumstances are employer has to do a RLMT except for the jobs in the shortage list. It is simple as that. If your job is in that then you can easily get a Tier2 work permit.
