As per my knowledge Barralastic is not suitable for Open areas. use some epoxy of crystallization method for the balconies. Also make sure that the waterproofing layer is cover by protective top coat and drain properly. Make sure the walls are waterproofed minimum of 6" from the floor. Before applying the waterproofing if you can slope it away , the application will be ok. Also ask the contractor to seal all edges, gullies, down pipe nozzles too.
Dont pay the contractor till he complete the job and make a pond test minimum of one week. Get a warranty for ten years from him for all damages.
Machan before awarding the job all these to be get in writing from him. Most of these buggers give explanations, and the damage will be with you.
