i went through the whole thread, and no one seems to be got it correct.................infact everyone has reapeated the question......................
the question is "where the hell is that missing ruppee is?"

per head = 25/3 = 8.3333....

later they received rs.1 each from the balance

that totally cost them = 8.33333.... + 1 = 9.3333....... not 9

(9.33333.... - 9) * 3 = 0.333333... * 3 = 1 (the missing rupee)


by the way this is a repost, it was earlier posted by athula..............
and this is the same answer i put it in that thread............................

there is no actual missing rupee...................... but according to the question a rupee is missed..................... the answer is to point out where it went wrong in the question..................... so just manipulating it will not give the answer....................... you should point it out how/where it missed that rupee in the question..................................... read it again mate and read ma answer carefuly............. you may see what it is.............................
