Wifi n draft 2.0 has a theoretical distance is 300m.So if its inside like 250m you can do the wifi using a wifi n card.I'm not sure g can hold as it has a max range of 200m.If its g+ it will be good.

Also note that there are two signals.2.4GHz and 5GHz.Since we don't have much interference 2.4GHz will work but definitely 5GHz range will have less interference.

If the signal is week, get an old umbrella, cover it with tin foil and attach it to the antenna hook by a cable.Or a large "thachchiya" would do.:D
But risks of lightning are there.:D :D

Here is what I am talking about.

Many people would say no you can't.But don't worry. Many who says that don't even have a wireless connection.:P
I have a wireless connection running at my home.Have my phone ,3PCs connected :D.I tested and fiddled with them.
And I actually tried that umbrella method when nobody was in(Its bit embarassing)And signal strength was 5 notches in vista for 100m.:D

if your wifi reception (signal) is not good you need to use a wifi RANGE EXTENDER.

once you n ur friend are both connected to ur wifi router run microsoft home and small office networking wizard on both pcs from network connection panel and you and ur friend can share files share printer and run server client soft on your network

If their are high buildings your WI-FI will not work. Wi fi will not go through concrete. Even N series will not go through. However if its not then you can get it going. But USR is no good. You need to go for a another brand. You can contact us we could help you.

If you need N series Network cards pl tell. But you need to get your signal checked.
