The most important factor would be screen size. Neov size is bigger.
8mp over 5MP won't give you much if you're not into printing what you shoot.

And of course, why are we even buying androids? To make the phone truely ours.... So, neov has more development support than Ray...

This is what I'm trying to say. If you are shooting and printing photos from your phone, even a 2mp camera is enough for a 4"*6" size photo. With a 5mp camera, you could print huge photos. So, don't go for 8mp unless you really need it.
Nowadays people choose androids so they can get root access and mess with the thing. So support from developers is very important. Neov has more support. Also compare the screen size. Neov size is bigger.
