Hey bro, I answered the same set of questions for some 1 else too a few weeks ago.
1. There are tourisim jobs I guess. However the job market in nz is quite slow, the economy here hasn't really bounced back here. You can read all the reports n shit but thats the hard truth.
2. The same goes for part time jobs too. But hey, this is just my openion. You could be really lucky and find a good part time job. I know this guy who got a job in a call centre with a decent pay.
3. The cost of living here has risen by 20% since january 2011. It's a struggle for most people here. If you can live beneth your means you could probably manage. But you should bring enough cash to survive till you find a job. When you will find one is a mistry. So bring lts
4. The answer to the last question is totally subjective. I ve been here for quite a while nowand I find it ok. People here are quite helpful although they try to keep it to them selves.
