Can one write ස with an English letter z beside it for the z sound? ie: zස

I have seen very rare instances of zස here and there and I am wondering if it would be appropriate to use that. Please let me know on that regard. Thank you!

Your new Sinhala letter for za does look like uyanna and a bit like payanna. But, I like it. But where should it go in the Sinhala alphabet?

It would be nice to see your new letter for za with all the pilis added to it!

ie: z za zaa zae zaeae zi zee zu zoo ze zE zo zO etc.

Also, have you written up a proposal for the addition of your new letter? ie: where it should be placed in the Sinhala alphabet?

If not, it would be a good idea if you did and then posted the proposal here and on other Sri Lankan websites and also forwarded it to the Sinhala experts, newspapers.

Also perhaps you can upload a video of yourself on YouTube talking about this letter and why it should be added.

Likewise some people here dont understand English

I was kidding. I do know some Sinhala, though, unfortunately, it is not enough to understand fully what was being said here. But starting in January, I will be attending Sinhala classes at the Sri Lanka Canada Frienship Association here in Edmonton. But what I can see from the discussion is that MuslimLankan created a new Sinhala letter for the Z sound.

It would be great if that letter was added to the Sinhala alphabet.

There is no sinhala words uses Z zzzzzz
